Sorry, but what a f'ing tool. I'm well aware I might sound like an angry teenager posting a gritty comment on YouTube but WTF??? Really? Who is this guy's lawyer and who on earth is his PR agent?? I thought all celebs, especially the R'n'B bling generation had as many entourage members as possible... surely he had a little press agent in there somewhere.
So here we are, is it what... five months since he beat his lady till she was black and blue in the face? And now comes the apology... oh and the fact he says he wants to be a role-model. How could that ever be the case? I wonder what the future holds for this man. One things for sure, he's in for some serious abuse... Just to be clear. If you do commit a crime, or do anything you're ashamed of, and it's in the public domain, get heard as quickly as you can. Get your voice out there and your story straight. Be honest, humble and take what ever you deserve. If you don't, then I highly recommend you crawl under a rock and try not to resurface until an age when you will have been forgotten.
If you disagree, I suggest you do a 'Chris Brown' search on Twitter and see what the world is saying... pretty damn frightening how one late apology can lead to such a huge backlash of haters.

Sorry, I bit of rant more than an educated statement... I'm glad you found my hidden key messages hidden amongst all the abuse!
But seriously... 'a role-model'? How is that possible... it screams of the whole 'Joey Barton' story, when he literally kicked the living daylights out of somebody in a Maccy D's whilst heavily under the influence. That one event effectively stamped his name in history books as a violent thug.... mind you, at least he spoke out straight away. I guess sometimes the crime committed is so bad, you'll never be socially acceptable again... gritty!

Your advice is spot on and shows that music biz/celebrity crisis comms isn't that different to corporate or political crisis comms!
